Day 3 — Fly to Sucre

Morning flight to Sucre, Bolivia's constitutional capital and one of the best-preserved colonial cities in South America. Check in to a boutique hotel in the white city. Continue overland south through the altiplano, the landscape growing wilder and more austere. Arrive Uyuni by afternoon. Sunset at the edge of the salar.

7
The Salt Desert

Day 7 — Salar de Uyuni: Full Day

Full-day private expedition across the salt flat. Visit the Isla Incahuasi — a surreal island of giant cacti rising from the white expanse — and experience the famous mirror effect during the wet season or the cracked geometric patterns of the dry.
